Youth Council NEWS
During the 2009 Winter HYC conference, regional representatives will be elected to the HYC Council. Two overnight meetings take place each year, and other meetings when necessary. This year, the newly elected representatives will meet immediately following the Winter HYC Conference. The overnight meeting will be at the Diocesan House in Seattle. The meeting will end at 10:00 a.m. on Monday,January 18 (Martin Luther King Day.) Those who will need to stay over on Sunday will call their parents after the elections on Saturday afternoon. An overnight meeting will be held in July to evaluate 6-Day and to plan the themes for the next school year. This group serves as an advisory voice to the Office of Faith Formation, and may also spearhead other activities (i.e. dances and car washes.)
If you want to stand for election, please have your parent/guardian sign the permission slip.
