Bishops' Benefit Bash
Mark your calendars now for Friday, October 3, for the first-ever Bishops' Benefit Bash which will be held at the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field, starting at 6 p.m. Cocktails, social time, silent auction bidding (in stages) will precede a Cajun style dinner under the wings of the exhibits in the Great Hall at the Museum.

Companion Parishes to host
two priests of the Diocese of JerusalemFrom August 4-18, the Episcopal Bishop's Committee for Israel/Palestine will be sponsoring two Palestinian priests for two weeks of visitation in the Diocese of Olympia. As part of their continuing companion relationships, St. Paul's, Port Townsend, and Epiphany Parish, Seattle, will be hosting events for Rev. Fadi Diab and Rev. Samir Esaid, priests-in-charge of sister parishes in the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem. Read more »

Lambeth Conference 2008
The Lambeth Conference is a gathering of bishops in the Anglican Communion that takes place once every 10 years. This year's gathering, the 14th Lambeth Conference, brings together over 800 bishops from July 16-Aug. 4 at the University of Kent in Canterbury, England for three weeks of worship, Bible study and conversation on mission opportunities, ecumenical and interfaith relations, biblical interpretation, HIV/AIDS, Millennium Development Goals and relationships.
